Review of The Bedford Incident (1965) by Andrew T — 10 Apr 2012
Good exploration of the potential for accidents, deterrents leading to escalation, offensive defensiveness and other uncomfortable issues. Poitier was good, as always, but Balsam and Widmark really stood out for me.
The 'misunderstanding' came off as unlikely, but still some interesting points. Worth tracking down.
