Review of The Beaver (2011) by Scott G — 05 Feb 2012
Filmed before Gibson said questionbable things, this was finally released and it was interesting to see the film was about a outspoken man, failed suicide atempt, deciding to talk though a puppet he discovered, so giving Gibsons climate it was a curious one, but overall, that does not make a good film, its not a feel good film its quite gloomy, and gibsaon is okay as that, but the film didnt come together for me, Foster who directs also stars as his put upon wife, shes okay here, and the plot about the son gets in the way of gibsons story a lot and in a way a interesting film itself, shame there are two films here.
