Review of The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953) by Cameron K — 23 Mar 2010

Keep in mind this movie was made in 1953, for what it was, I found it pretty good. I suppose, for it's time, it had state of the art special effects. I know it's not supposed to be funny, but I found myself laughing a lot, which is why it was so entertaining: The guy falling 6 feet into soft snow and getting seriously injured, the crowd of men conveniently run all together next to a wall only to be crushed, the overall casual conversation between people who clearly don't sound like they're casually speaking.

Seriously, I actually had fun with this one. Course, you need to watch it with a friend. By itself, the movie probably wouldn't be nearly as fun to watch.
