Made in 1953.A ferocious dinosaur awakened by an Arctic atomic test terrorizes the North Atlantic and ultimately New York City. Some excellent stop Motion Effects courtesy of Ray Harryhausen's magic fingers,the climax in New York City is still quite exciting and I find the end scene to be quite tragic but hey I always route for the Monsters to win,Before Godzilla there was this great Creature Feature,mind you the Hollywood 'Godzilla' remake actually has more in common with this movie rather than 'Godzilla',however this film is far better than that Garbage,Deffinetly one of the best Creature Features of the 1950's.
