Review of The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms (1953) by Shaun R — 04 Aug 2012
Quite ok for a 1953 movie. Typical of movies of the time, with a fast storyline, male-dominated cast, a beautiful woman (though at least she holds her own as a scientist). The beast, while not scary nor introduced in a suspenseful way, is believable for a 50's movie.
The ending is too fast, too boring, and simply not satisfying. Not even worth renting.
