Review of The Bang Bang Gang (1970) by Rainer K — 05 Apr 2012
Starts with creative and funny opening credit design and never slows down.
Robert Downey jr is so awesome - usually he excels in supporting roles but now and the he's the lead in these great indie films like Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I've also never seen a better Val Kilmer, and the two have amazing chemistry.
What surprises me most after watching it is how it hasn't got a cult film - the new Pulp Fiction - whatever. Twisted as fuck and with lots of hilarious lines as well as situational humour it has to offer one of the better and most original scripts I've ever seen. Also there's a gore level quite similar to the great Pulp Fiction - with similar slapstick kills.
I wonder what Shane Black will do with Iron Man 3 - I'm pretty excited about it now.
