Review of The Band Wagon (1953) by Walter C — 04 May 2009
Fred Astaire plays an actor who isn't as popular as he used to be so he heads to New York to star in a musical that's to be directed by a hot new director.
I'm not somebody who is a huge fan of musicals but, man can Fred Astaire dance. My jaw was on the floor watching him do some of the things he did. I'd love to see more of his movies. This movie was full of funny lines, great characters, memorable dance scenes and wonderful songs. This movie is a good time from start to finish.
