Review of The Ballad of Cable Hogue (1970) by Ben L — 03 Jun 2007
One of the weirdest Westerns I have ever seen. Jason Robards is good as the title character who finds water in the desert and turns it into a successful stagecoach stop. This is an extremely eccentric.
Movie. It meanders quite a bit, and some scenes, including a sort of musical number, come out of nowhere. I sort of liked it.
