Review of The Bad Seed (1956) by Eric H — 31 Jul 2008
A good film, but badly dated. Original and well made, but so self aware that I could only recommend it with reservations. It's quality throughout well deserve it's status in film history. The performances are the heart of the film, and you couldn't go wrong checking it out for that reason.
The ending though is so "it's just a movie" that any emotional build-up is washed away. A classic none the less.
