Review of The Babadook (2014) by Dustin O — 19 Jan 2016
Terrifying and artistic don't normally go together. However, this powerhouse of a horror film defies that logic. Instead of relying on the standard horror tropes, the film emits a strong suspense and caps it off with some of the most terrifying sequences ever put to film.
Would not advise watching alone; had a hard time sleeping after this one.
