Review of The Babadook (2014) by Annbd — 26 Oct 2018
Unnecessary paid attention on minor aspects of the story line, without lining up the main subject - Babadook, who was that dude? I think it could have been freaking good if the monster was actually the death husband, for whom the mother suffers and can't get over.
But in this case he would not wants the child. Idea without realization by stable directing is useless. Either it is the idea or the directing that's lame and failed the whole thing. I would say the acting of the mother and the child save the movie.
