Review of The Babadook (2014) by Darius Y — 14 Nov 2015
I was excited to see this movie based on rave reviews from critics. Sadly this movie wasn't nearly as scary as I was led to be believe, heck it really wasn't scary at all. I feel like the essence of a good scary movie is being surprised, it's never good when you can predict half the movie.
The real killer was the 1980s sound effects near the end :-/. Overall overrated as most films in this genre as of late.
