Review of The Awful Truth (1937) by Dustin R — 29 Sep 2007
It's surprisingly mature for Code film--and it's also really funny. Grant and Dunne separate, fight over custody of their dog, Mr. Smith, but of course end up back together anyways because they're so much damned fun.
The scene where Grant and Mr. Smith (played by "The Thin Man's" Asta) sing together is hilarious. That dog could do anything.
