Review of The Avengers (1998) by Hunter S — 06 Aug 2007
This movie was incredibly weird and the acting was really fake and flowed unnaturally and was quite awkward. Uma Thurman is rarely any good without Quentin Tarantino guiding her along and this is no exception.
She's extremely bland, as is Ralph Fiennes. Sean Connery made a relatively good villain but the whole plot of the film was ridiculous.
