Review of The Assassination of Richard Nixon (2004) by Clayton M — 18 Nov 2007

I think there's some fine acting that holds this film together! not just from Sean Penn but from Naomi Watts whose again just brilliant and under-appreciated here! & also Don Cheadle is absolutely flawless again! this could be such a bad film in so many levels but it's not.

it's enjoyable! it's realistic! & Sean makes this guy a real person and someone you love to love and love to hate! I think this is some of his best work to date! but I do find the plot is a little slow as it needs to be but I don't think they could've done any more with this film.

but it still just feels like a good movie and not something you'd rush out to see!
