Review of The Assassination of Richard Nixon (2004) by Stu C — 04 Mar 2010
As far as somewhat drab, small films go....this was a quality effort. My 3 stars is really a reflection of taste - but there were some interesting messages in this...the dented promise of capitalism, imperfect relationships and a commentary on truth and violence.
The caustic backdrop of 1970s Nixon the great salesman still resonates in todays context of PR obsessed political elites. Jack Thompson was a surprise, but its Penn's show.
