Billy Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond do a magnificent job writing this outstanding classic. The screenplay is fresh and brilliant. Witty, touching and funny, with an amazing cast. Jack Lemmon is perfect in the lead role.
Expertly done, flawless production. A deserved best picture winner.
