Review of The Apartment (1960) by Lui L — 05 Sep 2009
The opening of this film is just great. I really like it. It just tells the audience with humor how little the position the main character is and how many competition he has to face in order to fight for his place and that leads to the reason why the main character has to do it.
This film has a great idea actually and the movie builds up well from it. From the apartment we can see the dark side and light side of human. However, the tension is a little bit loose in the middle part of the movie.
I really feel bored during watching the middle part. Luckily, the end is neat and it just fits the movie.
