I am amazed how original this movie still is after 50 years. You would think that so many movies has copied this formula since, but Wilder has such a magnificent direction style that I never though "ah such and such movie copied this exact sub-plot".
Phenomenal script by Wilder and performance by Jack Lemmon. I am so glad that I am getting to see some of Jack Lemmon's "early" performances. As a child of the 80's I always thought of Jack Lemmon as this old geezer playing exclusively in comedies. What a great actor!
