Review of The Apartment (1960) by Anthony K — 04 Apr 2018
I really enjoyed this film - quite a bit more than Some Like It Hot, in fact. The stakes feel a lot higher, and the premise is much darker, more adult, without losing that upbeat spirit you expect from a Billy Wilder script.
Seems to be one of the first films to explore the "men are trash" theme that we hear so much of today.
