Impeccably shot, sharply scripted, and the performances in The Apartment are wonderful across the board. Jack Lemmon has the comedic physicality of a silent movie star while effortlessly delivering Billy Wilder's breathless dialogue & Shirley MacLaine is both soulful & witty.
A perfect film.
