Review of The Apartment (1960) by Jacob B — 17 Jan 2013
I didn't know it could be such a delight to see such outstanding acting. Shirley MacLaine and especially Jack Lemmon make this film one of the best I've seen. They are helped, of course, by the excellent dialogue they're given from Billy Wilder.
A nice balance between hilarious jokes and real drama; not many directors can pull that off.
