A fine and dandy film that works because of the charisma of Jack Lemon but really doesn't offer much more than his capable acting. The Apartment lives off of its risquà (C) plot in such a time that adultery was taboo but the truth is the story is rather bland and if not for Jack The Apartment would be a long forgotten film.
