Review of The Apartment (1960) by Meaghan C — 28 Jul 2010
Billy Wilder was really a true artist and wise beyond his years. The story of Mr. Baxter and Miss, Kimberly is extremely touching and surprisingly still relatable. Often times films of the 1950s and early 1960s play up married life and the perfection of romance, but The Apartment really reveals what is often kept behind closed doors.
It is certainly a refreshing film and classic that more people should see.
