Review of The Apartment (1960) by Gary M — 16 Aug 2008
Jack Lemmon plays a great "hopeless romantic" in this movie. You've heard of "always the brides maid never the bride", well something like that can be said for Jack in this film.
He falls in love with a woman whos too caught up in what she thinks is "love" to notice. Jack, the eternal underdog, takes the high road with his "nice guy" persona and deservedly gets the girl.
