Review of The Andromeda Strain (1971) by Doctor Faustus A — 13 Nov 2007
If you are into end of the world scenarios, then this one is for you. Michael Crichton's novel is adapted into a pseudo-documentary style thriller as a team of elite scientists rush to prevent the spread of a deadly microbe from outer space.
I'm certain this is where Resident Evil's Umbrella Labs were born. Best bit: The extremely tight ending, which cannot fail in drawing you to the edge of your seat.
