Review of The American President (1995) by Eric C — 31 Mar 2009
This is the American version of the girl dating the prince or king of whatever country the story would take place in. The major difference though is the sets are quite accurate and some of the political treatment is interesting.
The American President has flaws though; I'm not sure who the film is truly following, it's story has the same ups and downs as any other romantic comedy, the writing is almost serialized and Martin Sheen has more presence then Michael Douglas.
