Review of The American President (1995) by Don S — 21 Feb 2015

I used to be a fan of Reiner's early movies, up through A Few Good Men. After this, he seems to have lost focus and meandered around with subjects I just don't care about. Here we have a liberal President having a relationship with a PAC leader - conflict of interest anyone? - with the media covering the entire fiasco.

I didn't feel the spark between Douglas and Benning at all. I did enjoy Michael J Fox in his role.
