Steve Coogan really needs to impress American audiences with his ability to character act. All of his most recent movies have been basically Coogan's real life persona with a different name. He needs to show off his ability to transform into characters like Partridge, Calf etc.
However, the movie wasn't too bad - quite similar in style to Get Shorty.
