Review of The Age of Innocence (1993) by Darryl J — 28 Nov 2007
A perfectly executed period piece that deals with with social ethics and love. All the performances are perfect especially Lewis and Pfeiffer. Their performances are so subtle yet transfer so much emotion.
This is also one of Scorsese's most stylish films. Every frame of this movie seems meticulously calculated. There are scenes where he uses certain editing and camera tricks that are unbelievable.
