Review of The Age of Innocence (1993) by Cait R — 09 Jun 2008
This is hands down my favorite Scorsese movie of all time. Most people pick Goodfellas or Raging Bull. I guess I love this film so much because of how he stuck with those who were represented in the novel.
The acting is phenom, and one of the few films where Scorsese equally explores the psyches of female and male characters. It will also inspire you to re read the novel again. I wish they would come out with a special edition dvd for this.
