For its time and even compared to all of the Robin Hood movies, its the greatest and most flawless( not counting 2010 Robin Hood) Errol Flynn is the embodiment of Robin Hood and his merry men add to the great atmosphere of the movie.
Claude Rains even adds a great element of evil to the story and is a great nemesis for Flynn.
