Review of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (1994) by Fiona C — 01 Dec 2007
I loved watching this after having just been to Broken Hill and seen much of the same desert. The script is clever and hilarious, costumes are stunning (favourite is the thong dress), but best of all is the acting.
Hard to believe none of those guys are really gay. Terence Stamp as Bernadette was amazing, so feminine without trying too hard. Guy Pearce was hysterical and bitchy. This is worth watching over and over again.
