Una graciosa y al mismo tiempo conmovedora película australiana acerca de tres "drag queens" que se embarcan en un viaje en busca de respeto, amor y un empleo. Terence Stamp, Guy Pearce y Hugo Weaving interpretan a estos coloridos personajes a la perfección.
El re-make norteamericano llamado "To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything Julie Newmar" es también muy entretenido, pero la versión original es superior.
