Review of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988) by M M B — 06 Nov 2008
A return to the look and feel of 'Time Bandits,' this is a quirky, charming movie. It is surreal and funny (in a gentle, child-like way) in a way only Terry Gilliam can pull off. It is a testament to the power of not so much magic as to the power of finding magic in the ordinary, as well as the transformative power of memory.
