Review of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988) by Alex V — 17 Nov 2008
There's something about the way Terry Gilliam crafts his films that makes them so endearing. Like, an almost hand-made quality that shows off his creativity more than anything else ever could. Munchausen is chock-full of this whimsical and imaginative quality, bursting with hefty amounts of adventure and excitement, to boot.
Certainly one of Gilliam's better films, even if it tends to drag a little at times and take too many detours. This is just an incredibly fun time, and not one to be missed for adventure fans.
