One of Terry Gilliam's best. The reason it flopped at the box office was entirely due to poor reviews by film critics after its premier - thus people avoided it. Not sure who those critics were, but just shows you they don't know what they're talking about.
Lavish and fantastical, full of history, philosophy, and fun. A wonderful film.
