Review of The Adventures of Baron Munchausen (1988) by Thomas M — 09 Jan 2010
Enthralling and fun. A pure fantasy film from normally non linear director Terry Gilliam. There are visuals in this movie I have never seen a computer be able to top. The acting in this movie is surprisingly well suited to the film.
Except Robin William and his flying head on the moon schtick. That was lame. But otherwise one of the most purely entertaining fantasy movies I have ever seen. That it really comes to no real point in the end doesn't matter much.
I can watch this one over and over and not grow tired of it.
