A woman brings a strange case to the attention of Sherlock Holmes that does not seem like the best use of his time. Sherlock decides to pass the case to his pain in the ass brother, Sigerson Holmes. Sigerson also resents Sherlock; however, he is determined to solve the female's case to prove he is every bit as competent as his brother.

"I said that I wanted to touch his wingle.".

Gene Wilder, director of The World's Greatest Lover, The Haunted Honeymoon, and The Woman in Red, delivers The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother. Wilder wrote, director, and starred in this movie. The settings, script, and content of this movie was entertaining in a Mel Brooks film kind of way. The acting was solid and the cast includes Wilder, Madeline Kahn (History of the War Part 1), Dom DeLuise, and Marty Feldman (Young Frankenstein).

"One of these days you're going to assume a broken ass, Mr. Holmes.".

My wife and I have enjoyed the last several Gene Wilder films we DVR'd, so my wife recorded this film when she found it while flicking through the channels. The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother is a very entertaining picture that is funny and smart. I recommend seeing this film if you enjoyed The Frisco Kid or Young Frankenstein.

"You've got your hands on my wife's boobies.".

Grade: B+.
