Review of The Adventure of Sherlock Holmes' Smarter Brother (1975) by Allan C — 22 Dec 2010
I remembered liking this film better than I did this time around. It's basically a Mel Brooks film without Mel Brooks, and Mel's films have similarly not aged well. Still, Gene Wilder is a genius and I'd watch him in anything.
Madeline Kahn and Marty Feldman are equally fine and make this a very enjoyable film. And Gene sings in this one too.
