Review of The Abyss (1989) by Allan S — 25 Jul 2010
I now understand why Cameron directed Aliens, to make up for the massive puffery of the Abyss. A great film in it's own right, very tense, mercurial, and captivating; but then you get the bombshell that is humans are a bunch of pricks and should change their ways.
Consider this, the film was made in 1989 so I'll kinda let it slide.
