Review of The Abandoned (2006) by Aracely R — 07 Jul 2007
This film had promise but after thirty minutes into it, it started to go downhill fast. Although there were nice twists here and there, they weren't enough to save the film's lack of character development and tedious storytelling.
An hour into the movie, I just wanted it all to end. I have a penchant for films that strive to be different, but this one failed to stand out to things that have been done before. I recommend "The Descent" instead.
