Review of The 6th Man (1997) by Vinnie C — 22 Aug 2011

I'd watched this a couple times when I was younger (in fact I saw it in the theater) and I remember liking it at the time. But of course, 12 years or so is a long time and it's not as good as I remember, in fact it's a pretty bad movie.

Extremely predictable story about two basketball playing brothers. One dies and comes back as a ghost to help his brother's failed team, so hilarious... yawn. It could have had some potential, but alas, it's just stupid ghost jokes we've seen millions of times.

I think one of the funniest parts is seein the IMDb message board saying "Saddest movie ending ever?" and actually being serious about it.
