Review of The 5th Wave (2016) by Alvin Y — 16 Apr 2016
The 5th wave is actually the 1st worst movie of 2016 that I've seen so far. Everything in this film is a shit. There's no tension or character buildup here, hence even the romance part is all crap.
I'm not even sure if this is an Alien invasion story or just a bunch of US government people wants to rule the world, not even close to that. Everybody in this film did a terrible job on acting, no great and no better qualities that you can find here.
It wants to be part of the YA genre but fails miserably. The only good thing about the film is that we learn that these people don't give a damn about anything and now faced the biggest possibility of living and surviving.
Hell its even better than the Divergent series and I don't know why. So it's a call for being a bad film.
