Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by Ella G — 11 May 2008
I prefer Hitch's later work but appreciate this example of British sound cinema also. It wasn't as thrilling as I hoped it to be. The mystery and suspense wasn't that interesting. I liked the humour though as well as the chemistry between the leading couple.
