Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by Mike V — 22 Jun 2016
What a magnificent early Hitchcock movie. Not only is there real mystery, suspense and plot twists, but an unexpectedly good comical element as well. Add to all this the developing love interest between the two leading characters, results in a well-rounded though somewhat rushed movie.
Considered to be the fourth best British film of all time. 1001.
