Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by Dave R — 01 Apr 2010
Hot damn, Mr. Hitchcock never missed a beat. This is another phenominal man-hunt thriller from the master himself. I can't even begin to describe the crazy story in this one though. It's a bit on the absurd side, sure, but that's what makes it so juicy.
There's plenty of twists and turns and laughs and mishaps and Brits and Scots and bears, oh my! Ha, anyways I'm getting tired obviously and just gonna wrap this up by saying, SEE IT. It's friggin Hitchcock for crying out loud.
