Review of The 39 Steps (1935) by Robyn M — 31 Jul 2012
Sexy, smart and fun- Hitchcock's prove's the 1930's is just the beginning of something great! How many brillant Directors can say they lived through silent film, talkies and colour films? Hitchcock accomplished so much in his life span... I admire his pervalence.
The 39 steps was ahead of it's generation and unrated. I can't help but think this film would have been great for today's audience.
Sadly most spy film steal Hitchcocks 39 step theory IE: Bourne and James bond.
