One thing that must be realised is that 300 is based on the graphic novel, not the battle it'self; So this movie has so much more facts about the battle. Now this movie made in 1961, 15 years after WWII, so it saw it as an opertunity to release the g.
..reatest battle ever faught against a tyrany trying to take over the world.
