This was more true to fact than 300, which was all CGI eye candy and very, very minimal facts.
Spartans wore breastplates and were not half naked like in 300. They also used their spears for weapons until they broke phalanx or the spears themselves broke.
No stupid charging elephants (WTF? Hannibal wasn't even born yet), rhinos or Immortals that looked like Orcs straight out of The Lord Of The Rings.
